The new week will start with a raw and industrial interior I came across this weekend (… so no blue colors this time!). This renovated 132 square meters brick house from Copenhagen was built in 1922. Family who lives there likes to give old and little bit rusty things a second chance, for example the glass wall dividing the living room is actually a large window section from an old greenhouse, curtains are made from an old tablecloth, tiles in the kitchen came from a hotel kitchen and a big cabinet in the living room is from a hospital. Very clever repurposing, especially the greenhouse window, isn’t it? :)
I like these white washed floors in the living room and the contrast of an old table painted light turquoise and old metal Tolix chairs. Also I like the real stump placed in front of the fireplace and the candle holders that look like stumps (is “stump” correct word to describe these wooden things I described?!).
Have a nice new week!
